Thank you, Teresa. This means a whole lot coming from you!

Love this and will do my best to live up to it: We also need to not cast "curses" thoughtlessly upon others who displease us in some way - this is invoking the demonic, and we should only wish good upon all, including our enemies (although sometimes it's tough when it comes to these globalists!).

And no, I have not seen "Nefarious." I get so many recommendations so please feel free to remind me about it. 🙂

I believe so too Mickey Z.

This is a saying my 93 year young friend from Beamsville, Ontario has printed on the back of his business card:

"May the world this day be happier and better because I Live" Harrold C.

Amen! 🙏

Thank you for sharing that!

I think we cannot consciously do so, but we all can. I remember reading and hearing of people who can heal without anything else but the sign of a hand, without touching even. I think what destroys this belief and ability is modern medicine, where you put your faith in another human, and not in the Power that heals.

Great point about modern medicine. Designed to make profits and to play God.

But what do you mean when you say we cannot consciously do so?

I think we just have to let the power flow through us, When I from myself want to 'flow' it does not work, I think. All we can do is direct thoughts to the person that needs help. Every attempt from myself seems to make things worse. Or is that just me???

Thanks for clarifying! What you say makes sense to me.

Mickey, I believe we can perform miracles through faith, just as the disciples did, but we need to also believe Jesus is God as well as human. Jesus had to perform supernatural acts because he was part of the supreme being; in that respect, it was not his faith, but himself who healed and the disciples healed in Jesus' name. We also need to remember God's answer can be, "No.", no matter how much faith we have. If we forget this, we forget who is driving the bus.

Thank you, Brian...and I hear you! It was tricky to get this post properly worded so please allow to add: I am NEVER denying that Jesus could and did perform supernatural acts. For example, he sent the disciples out with oils that he had anointed!

But I'm also wondering if his role was to show us how live as faithful humans, perhaps he was also leading by example - through prayer.

ABSOLUTELY, that was a major part of his gig! No argument there! And my intent was only to make sure we have the whole Truth (my attempt probably falls short as well). I LOVE what you are doing and I know how difficult it is framing short articles like these because the Truth is so big. Please keep doing what you are doing. It matters!

Thanks for a thought provoking post.

"Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." - John 14:12

Having said that, I read a book called "Mind to Matter", by Dawson Church, where clinical experiments were done with prayer and group/intention prayer with miraculous results.

I read another book called " Super Charged Self Healing" by RJ Spina. He was paralyzed with a lethal spine infection causing a massive autoimmune reaction in his body. Rampant diabetes with a thyroid malfunction. Through sheer determination that he would walk again he did.

Thank YOU, David! You're right, I should've included John 14:12 in my post. But I'm glad you just did!

Thanks for the book suggestions. I see Dawson Church has worked with Joe Dispenza (whose work I admire).

Totally believe! Side note, here is a gorgeous song that some folks may enjoy, called "The Blessing," by Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes. https://youtu.be/Zp6aygmvzM4 (Also on spotify along with 5 other shorter/simpler versions). The lyrics are lovely, a spoken prayer; reminds me of "The Beauty Way" prayer from the Dine/Navajo. Like a 'grace' for all life. Thanks for this post today, Mickey. All things are possible, always.

For the non-religious, the advice is helpful, even beyond the faith aspect.

Do not be anxious and be at peace as so much is life is beyond our control is the message.

Keeping our sense of awe and wonder, childlike habit, is so important and minimizing expectations as those are surely to dash hoped for results.

Don't worry, be happy comes to mind.

You always inspire, my friend. There are times in life when we ask ourselves,”what if there isn’t a God? What if Jesus wasn’t the Son of God?”. In my whole life, although I’ve wondered those what if’s, I’ve never been able to shake the belief: Yes, there is a God, One God, and Christ was his Son.

Religion invented the convention, as in the business convention that helps keep the salesmen on the path, and going to church is not how we get to Heaven, but how we remind ourselves to stay on the path; a path that my wife likes to remind me “is well lighted and clearly marked.”

It helps as well to have our friends (like you) and family remind us not to stray from the path.

Keep laying those golden bricks on the path for us, Mickey!

Yes, that's actually the principle behind Christian Science, whose practitioners have been facilitating "miraculous" healings by the tens of thousands for over 100 years now. It's not just faith though, it's understanding the oneness and allness of divine Love.
