Yes, of course, New York City has been quite disappointing for the past four years. Ongoing mask worship, vax mandates, BLM riots, migrant fever, DEI, and all that. As a result, New Yorkers were effectively primed for the next thing: The National Guard (and bag searches) in the subway.
It is now officially tougher to legally board a public train system than to illegally walk across the Southern border.
I just saw a news report in which subway riders welcomed the totalitarian salvo because, hey, “Whatever it takes to keep us safe.” This is precisely the same subservient denial airline passengers spewed when draconian security [sic] measures were imposed after 9/11.
The Powers That Shouldn’t Be™ go to great lengths to keep us living in fear (and thus more compliant) but all it takes is a brief visit to a search engine near you to expose the obvious deceptions.
For example, did you know subway crime is down 13 percent over the past two years?
Currently, the odds of you being a victim of any crime in the Big Apple’s subterranean tunnels of transportation is about 1 in 500,000. (FYI: The odds of winning any prize in NY Lotto is 1 in 92.)
What about overall crime in my hometown? Amidst all the recent media mendacity about unforeseen levels of murders, here’s just some of what’s not included in those clickbait articles:
NYC reported 386 murders in 2023
Meanwhile, from 1990 to 1994, NYC averaged over 2,000 homicides per year
The murder rate peaked in 1990 when there were (wait for it) 2,605 murders in the Big Apple
That means the homicide rate declined by 85 percent between 1990 and 2023.
I’m not saying this is anything to be proud of but it doesn’t even crack any list of the 100 most lethal U.S. cities (per capita).
In case you’re interested, the 20 cities with the highest murder rates in the U.S. are:
St. Louis, MO (69.4 murders per 100,000)
Baltimore, MD (51.1)
New Orleans, LA (40.6)
Detroit, MI (39.7)
Cleveland, OH (33.7)
Las Vegas, NV (31.4)
Kansas City, MO (31.2)
Memphis, TN (27.1)
Newark, NJ (25.6)
Chicago, IL (24)
Cincinnati, OH (23.8)
Philadelphia, PA (20.2)
Milwaukee, WI (20.0)
Tulsa, OK (18.6)
Pittsburgh, PA (18.4)
Indianapolis, IN (17.7)
Louisville, KY (17.5)
Oakland, CA (17.1)
Washington D.C. (17.0)
Atlanta, GA (16.7)
New York City’s homicide rate per 100,000 is 6.58.
The Parasite Class™ wants us divided — fearing and despising each other. But such manipulation is rendered impotent the moment we stop trusting official pronouncements from any of the elites [sic] — from either party, on any issue.
Reminder: Fear and faith work on the same exact premise.
What will it take for people all across the ideological spectrum to reject fear programming and instead work together to create a more just society?

Speculation is this is the opening salvo for martial law. Get out of New York while you can.
"It is now officially tougher to legally board a public train system than to illegally walk across the Southern border." Well if that doesn't wake a few more of us up...
Excellent points on how this fear matrix works. Thanks Mickey for being you, and staying hopeful and sharing the positives while looking directly at what we're up against. Best.
