"Left" & "Right," "woke" & "patriot" — all united in the name of doom

The primary motivator is manufactured fear

When I was well-known on the “left,” I heard so much gloom and doom about extinction events, climate change, World War III, non-stop government surveillance, melting glaciers, transphobia, institutional racism, the Military-Industrial Complex, GMOs, FEMA camps, stolen elections, too many guns, and so much more.

Since March 2020, I have become sorta known on the “right” and I hear so much gloom and doom about depopulation, non-stop government surveillance, vaccines as bio-weapons, Great Reset, open borders, Smart Cities, trans agenda, GMOs, quarantine camps, stolen elections, woke agenda, guns being taken away, and so much more.

Each “side” relentlessly mocks the hive mind of “sheep” on the other “side” — while ignoring/denying the very existence of the echo chamber they proudly call home — and will vehemently defend.

This, in part, explains why I’ve been a free agent for quite a while.

I've pitched my tent in the land of hope.*
