So, as I told you last week, I was just treated to a visit from the one and only Alicen Grey. Thus, I wanted to share just a small taste of what we did — via the photos we took.
Lovely pics ! Seems like you had a good time ! Thankfully there still are some nice, green places left in NYC where you can meet with wildlife. Is that first church the Episcopal cathedral ? I have been told it is beautiful. I am not churchgoing, but one must recognize that religion was for the longest time a source of beautiful artworks!
Thank you, Ingrid...and yes, it's the same Episcopal cathedral I photographed earlier this year.
As for your closing point, Alicen and I had long conversations about how, in the past, humans put in such time, effort, and care into creating beauty in the name of God.
Hmm. Not letting me edit. I love beautiful churches. They are a delight of both architecture and accoustics. We are fortunate to live in an area with so many surprising gems, many, but unfortunately not all, of which escaped the "renovations" of the 70s and 80s.
Thank you, Jaye! As I just said to Ingrid above: Alicen and I had long conversations about how, in the past, humans put in such time, effort, and care into creating beauty in the name of God.
Wonderful photo captures of your adventures! Good to see Chonky was hanging out, too! I especially love the way you were able to connect and communicate with the red tail hawks. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing!❤️
