So, as I told you last week, I was just treated to a visit from the one and only Alicen Grey. Thus, I wanted to share just a small taste of what we did — via the photos we took.
When Alicen met Chonky.
The Arch at Washington Square Park.
A very lifelike Emmet Kelly mannequin in a Halloween shop.
We saw two red-tailed hawks at Washington Square Park and spoke telepathically to them. I specifically asked for a hawk to fly “ridiculously close” to us. One day later, this massive hawk flew about 15 feet over our heads at Central Park!
And, of course, there were churches, e.g.
Coney Island:
And it makes me wonder…
boy meets gull.
“I will open the windows of heaven for you and pour down a blessing.”
(Malachi 3:10)
Reminder: Alicen’s brand new album, UGLY (under her musical moniker When Humans Had Wings) is now available right here!

Lovely pics ! Seems like you had a good time ! Thankfully there still are some nice, green places left in NYC where you can meet with wildlife. Is that first church the Episcopal cathedral ? I have been told it is beautiful. I am not churchgoing, but one must recognize that religion was for the longest time a source of beautiful artworks!
Wonderful photo captures of your adventures! Good to see Chonky was hanging out, too! I especially love the way you were able to connect and communicate with the red tail hawks. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing!❤️
