Praying for all here today and those who have prayed with us these past Wednesdays. I too am curious to hear more about Eden being a vegetarian paradise.
Testify Time! TT! Last Wednesday I asked for prayers for my Dad who was dealing with intense sciatica and pain (it was really bad). After doing so, several here in the PW community 'hearted' my post and/or said they'd pray for my Dad, for which I was so grateful! I then felt inspired (as in, with Spirit;) to ask for prayers for my Dad on my sole social media account. I am quite pvt about my family, but I know the power of prayer and went for it. Well... that day my Dad had a remarkable turnaround! He even said that day was notably different from the previous 9 days. He was able to sit up, shave, and do some email for a few hours; before he'd been basically non-functional. He said he was looking forward to standing and walking at some point, too.
Welp, both happened the next day! My Mom said that those initial 48 hours "were like a miracle!" She said that more than once :) and was marveling at how much improvement occurred, as things were extremely different the 9 days prior. My Dad also stopped taking the heavy painkillers he'd been on for four days within those 48 hours!
He has been getting better every day since. I know the power of prayer from this group and others lifted him up for this amazing recovery. My Mom also mentioned how surprised she was at how well *she* was doing, as she was caring for him the whole time. Instead of being exhausted, she was doing well. So thank you for your prayers for the rest of my family; they truly uplifted my Dad's main caretaker, my Mom!
Thank you all so very much for your prayers for my Dad! They continue to wash over him today and aid in his ongoing recovery. He's not completely out of the woods, but the brambles and thicket are thinning! THANK YOU! My parents are grateful for all the prayers. My Mom is especially deeply religious and has been a beautiful example of daily prayer in my life. It's a real joy to love God and reflect back to her the power of collective prayer sent my family's way.
