My perspective of that book/movie has shifted many times over the years but I now view it as a treatise against groupthink.

Right! I think I will start with the book this time. Haven't read that one yet.

until they stop people like fauci and birx to circulate from govt to elsewhere this won't stop. How can there ever be honesty if the criminals from one just move to the other without ever being held responsible for their crimes? It would also help, if the wages were in normal regions, instead of being astronomically for those scoundrels. If they were paid 40000 a year it would be less appealing! Oh if I were persident LOL

Amen! The revolving door between the public and private sectors is not discussed enough by dissidents (or anyone). We are left with unelected technocrats who make decisions that can impact our lives more than a president or senator.

St. Augustine, Deborah Birx, a cartoon Robo Prez, and what by all accounts appears as Gene Wilder clowning around in an orchestra pit. You really take the cake, Mickey!

Keep up the great work (I mean charity; I mean LOVE...)

Thanks; I realized it was the Marx Brothers after commenting (eye roll.... BTW You are so kind...) I was thinking that a benefit of the recent weirdness is that I have come to appreciate their humor as never before.

I'm a lifelong Marx Brothers fan but you are so right! Their brand of absurdity is very much needed now.
