Worship Wednesday #112
“Where two or more are gathered together in My name...”
When we allow the real or perceived opinions of others to fully shape our thoughts and actions, we basically turn those people into replacement gods.
Reminder: The only approval that truly matters is His.
Now, let’s get to this week’s Worship Wednesday…
I ask you today, friends, to keep all of those folks in your prayers: Michele, Jessica, Peri, Brandi, Eddy, Tony, and Annie.
To simplify this weekly concept: Your prayer requests and praise reports are 100% welcome!
Who and what are you praying for? How can we help?
Which prayers of yours have been answered? Please share some good news!
Thank you for this week’s prayer requests, praise reports, and love…
“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.” (1 Timothy: 1)
We all have prayer requests, many of which involve very serious personal situations. However, let’s always remember to petition the LORD on behalf of others who need support.
In addition to the prayer requests mentioned here, please stay attentive to those moments when someone you know unexpectedly comes to mind. Use that as a prompt to pray for them immediately. The Holy Spirit is speaking to you.
FYI: Each week, I compile handwritten lists of all your requests and bring them to the Eucharistic Chapel at the nearby Catholic Church (see photo below). I pray for all of you and then place the list in the chapel’s prayer box, where your requests are prayed for privately yet directly as part of specific Masses.
“And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” (1 John 5:14)
Thank you, everyone, for dedicating time and energy to creating a better, more positive, and accepting world.
You are not alone. I look forward to praying for and with you and hope you’re also in each other’s prayers.
May the rest of your life be the best of your life…

Praying for all and everyone - because every person is in need of His love.
Praying especially for the people in Colombia, where another devastating natural disaster, a terrible earthquake, took the lives of many. Yesterday 137 dead were found already and 2500+ still missing.
Praying for the million people in China whose house have been flooded by the second typhoon in a month's time. The former caused evacuation of 700 000 people.
Praying for all those that lost family members and probably all they owned in the earthquake, the flooding, the fires still raging in Europe and Canada.
Praying that all those that are healthy and still have all their stuff, may part with some to give to those in dire need.
Saying thanks for health and life, for a new day, and for the rain that fell yesterday and this night, which gave us a little breath of fresh air!
Saying thanks for Dad, who, with a friend at the retirement home, made the front page of the news paper, helping the home create a garden for the residents. So proud he is still able and willing to help even with his 92 years. And a little prayer for Tippi dog, two steps forward one step back to health.
Good morning. I come for others today but also for my niece, the one who recently completed a 14 month journey through modern and alternative cancer treatments and a renewal of faith. Please pray for her son, 16 years old, who walked away from a promising life 50 days ago for a customary weekend with ‘dad’. His father is addicted to drugs. Tristan went for his weekend and refused to come home. My niece, his mom, is beside herself, especially since she fears there might be some duress involved. She is seeking legal assistance because both Tristan and his dad are violating a court ordered custody decree, which is a special form of kidnapping. My request today is prayer for miraculous recovery for Dave, his dad. And wings of justice in the form of safety and shelter from devilish influences for Tristan. And eyes to see, without drama, what’s best for Tristan for his mom LeLe, the courts, judges, lawyers, and law enforcement. Piercing the veil is what I pray for. Lifting the human expectations from Tristan to see what God’s will is for him. He is confused and testing boundaries but is not safe where he is staying. Thank you.
I pray for your list of friends Mickey apologies I forgot to paste the names here.
