That's some heavy duty science! Thankfully, it's much more entertaining than, e.g., poisonous injectable products or novel ways to slaughter children.
Hahaha ! just like the Voynych manuscript ! I had read about it and then saw an older doc on youtube, where they showed pics. I immediately recognized some plants for calming, then saw the pics of pregnant women, and knew what it was - a medieval doctor's manual to treat pregnant women. The 2 experts, a linguist declaring it written in an unknown language, and a historian of some kind, declaring it an early Da Vinci (I am sure the man turned around in his grave) were very serious. A newer doc showed a journalist, who had come to the same conclusion as I did, and he also showed a drawing of an Italian city with special walls - there are only a couple of these. He then found the 2 original books, from which this one had been copied. If a historian cannot see the difference between a medieval and a renaissance book, how can we ever believe anything they say ! And as to the alphabet - the journalist figured out it was just plain old latin, but abreviated - one tsp of this and two Tbsp of that.... ah those experts! The scientism ! LOL
