Good piece of writing Mickey. While reading it I kept thinking “Where am I in this scenario?”

Reading this for the second time, I'm getting a lot more out of it. The big thing is escaping the spectacle. And if you can make that effort, then human connections become more meaningful.

Luv this. ‘93 was pivotal for me, lots of transition, perceptual shifts, grief, confusion, emotions. This essay captures so much from then, & now. Thank you.💫

well I am one of those that spend part of the day walking in the woods ! I got a dog and 3 cats, 2 of them go along so the 4 of us stroll without direction, the dog's nose usually leading us. I guess my neighbors think I am a crazy old, ugly fat woman but who cares? The only remaining creativity is (due to diminishing eyesight) clothes making, I knit mostly and do some sewing. Gardening is almost impossible due to poor soil quality and dry hot summers, but I eat all edible growth from the yard. Computer is my newspaper, book, yes I play card and puzzle games and I love jigsaw puzzles (cardboard ones and puter). I stick out like a sore finger LOLOL

How am I just discovering your body of work now? Wow this piece speaks across time and

gives me much comfort in our collective individual potential to create new realities outside of “consensus reality”. Thank you and looking forward to reading more!✨🙏🏼✨
