I stopped using Paypal when they blocked the Expose. If I want to subscribe to it, they need to pay regardless of wether they like it or not. I tried to delete my account, but couldn't. I forgot to register my cell phone, which needs to receive the unsubscribe code ! Since then, they send me coupons, rebates, etc almost daily LOL.

What service do you use instead?

Infuriating! Would be happy to join a mass exodus from PayPal and Venmo if we could swing it. If anyone has suggestions for alternatives payment options (in addition to writing checks) that aren't painted with the same brush, I'd love to know about them.

I, sadly, still use Paypal because my IT skills are nonexistent. I don't have the wherewithal to delve into cryptocurrency, nor any other more technical means to support certain causes controlled by the corporate mafia that refuse to pay the dissidents. I also use Amazon, reluctantly, because they offer good deals, streaming services, and have a good search engine. In the olden days we called it value; today it represents the corporate takeover of the world. Sad. The Waltons did the same with mom & pop businesses before Bezos did it to all other enterprises, like indie booksellers, e.g.

I do have a lifetime boycott against what was the Quaker Oats company(still do, BTW) when boycotts had traction. But these days it may all be moot because monopolies are in vogue with the US Supreme Court fascists/justices. Peace
