"If anyone is smugly enjoying this takedown of the woke crowd, I suggest you take a good look around. The “truth” movement™ and “medical freedom” movement™ can be just as deluded and deceptive in their own way."

Bingo! Thanks, Mickey. Yes, discernment is what we need most in PSYOP world.

Thank you, Kathleen.

And sometimes, we use our discernment to identify when a psyop is not present!

Oh, do let me know when you discern one of those!!😊

Great post, Mickey. Adolph Reed had some interesting thoughts on this a few years back. The tl;dr version is that poverty matters much more than ethnicity.

Reed, as usual, nails it: Racism and white supremacy don’t really explain how anything happens. They’re at best shorthand characterizations of more complex, or at least discrete, actions taken by people in social contexts; at worst, and, alas, more often in our political moment, they’re invoked as alternatives to explanation.

Thanks, James!

My inner activist only comes out for a movement called “Leave Us Alone”. We express ourselves by not showing up so we can be left alone. Never mistake our quiet for weakness. We are watching.

I hear you. I straddle a paradoxical line of being a semi-public figure for decades while spending a major chunk of my life seeking to be left alone!

Hard times seem to strengthen the stoic in us. As if primal survival instincts have just reawakened.

Good insight! I agree. Stoicism is a valuable tool in the survival and (eventually) prospering kit.

I just read that one of the Germans who glued themselves to something lost their hand. That is where extreme activism leads. The only activism that I think can be done, is to change yourself and your own life. If it is good people will see it and hopefully follow suit. Most will remain in their own cocoon because they are unable or too lazy to change.

I feel it depends how one chooses to see and define "activism."

Very sad those insect types. Why not finish the morph?

Help that butterfly break out and live!

Thank you for sharing that Mickey. A great essay. BLM, Antifa, and now the tranny movement are the Storm Troopers/Brown Shirts of the forces trying to take down our society. The founders of BLM had a genius plan. They know there is no slur more powerful than “racist”. Black Lives Matter left Jesse and Al in the dust and took it to a whole other universe!

If your response to “Black Lives Matter” is not immediate agreement, you are automatically a racist! For example responding ALL Lives Matter. The slogan was used to terrorize people in restaurants, on the street, etc. One young mother was shot in the face and killed because she kept responding all lives matter! Businesses terrified of being called racist gave them millions, which went right in their pockets!

Under the guise of "social justice", over $2 BILLION dollars in damage was done between BLM and Antifa. The slap was black businesses got burnt to the ground too!

In a discussion I had, I asked if Black Lives Matter:

Why are more black babies aborted than born in New York, and a disproportionately high number of black to white babies aborted every day?

Why did they take off their website "We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement", when the disruption of the family is what has destroyed black society in particular in America?

Young white men in America die from drowning and car accidents. Young black men die at the hands of other young black men by the tens of thousands. Why is BLM okay with that?

BLM is short for Buy Large Mansions!

Indeed, David, BLM has corporation-level audacity for assuming that very few folks will ask them what "black lives matter" actually means. Like all activist groups/cults, they exploit people's good intentions.

Sadly, as I allude to, this type of "activist" megalomania is not limited to any single ideology. I yearn to see ensuing generations reimagine how to unite and work in a way that truly challenges the Powers That Shouldn't Be.

Agreed. Fanatics come in all varieties and philosophies. The people that run them are experts at getting people sucked in.

Perfectly stated, my friend.

Yeh, saying "all lives matter," or "everyone is essential" marks you as a "right wing extremist" in "correct society" today.

Thanks for the analysis. The credibility of the data "proving" intentional, ongoing targeting of unarmed blacks seems on a par with the data "proving" the injections are "95 percent" effective (using 163 "cases" out of a total sample pool of 40,000).

Thank YOU, SF. It pains me that we have so many well-intentioned, good folks who want to be part of positive social change. But large groups exploit them and mislead them. It's pure evil.

It duped so many people here. Myself included, until June 2020.

You have a good heart and thus, why wouldn't you want to help people who face discrimination? As my post today shows, I was also all in back in the early days.

But yeah, we were duped.

I trust this won't harden your heart. There are still so many other ways to help and make a difference in so many lives.

These movements begin with a legitimate issue, i.e. overpolicing, the criminalization of everything, escalation of conflicts and the coverup of trigger happy officers causing unecessary deaths of people of all races. This is then subverted in a divide and conquer way: in the cases of both George Floyd and Michael Brown the reasons for the interaction and the death were shrouded in shades of grey. They could easily have chosen cases to highlight which much more clearly showed wrongful death, but that would get everybody on the same side. So instead it became a shouting match between one side that treats these guys as saints and another that stands behind the police even when they do bad things...
