Wow, I Wish I'd known you in my dark days as a personal trainer ;)

And I certainly could have used a little of your confidence...!

And an aside--I worked as a PT for some insanely rich people who lived in those park avenue apartments with 3 stories, internal elevators, and authentic suits of armor in the entrance halls. They couldn't be bothered to go to a gym, so they'd have you come over at 5am to work them out before they bought and sold countries. That was the first time in my life I'd seen such wealth. Before that, my idea of rich was lawyers with nice apartments and cars. But these people were something else entirely. Opened my eyes right up.

I remember the Vertical club too--never went inside, surprise surprise.

Thanks, Lorie! I see you can relate to this bizarre dynamic. After the VC, I did more than my share of training the uber-rich in their private gyms, too. As you say, VERY eye-opening.
