Thank you for helping me help others as we move toward another NYC winter
Your generous support enables me to expand my reach
By now, you probably know at least a little about my project of seven years. If not, please click here and here and here — for starters.
As we move into October, I love the fall weather (which is mild as I type this).
Still, it’s a precursor to some harsher NYC weather. I’m sure you can imagine how the mere act of sitting on cold concrete is enough to cause a profound sense of dread.
So, I’ll keep it simple, friends. I’m willing to regularly go out on the streets and look for people who need relief — particularly homeless women — in any and all types of weather. But I can only do so with your donations serving as the wind in my sails.
Can you find it in your heart to help? If so, here are the basics:
My project, “Helping Homeless Woman (& Others) - NYC” will mark its seventh anniversary on October 16.
If you want to help me help others, here are the best ways to keep things going and growing:
Make a direct donation right here.
Order items from my wishlist here (especially the gift cards).
Commit to a monthly pledge at Patreon here.
To keep things simple, click here and donate whatever feels right for you!
No matter what, please spread the word by sharing the above links far and wide! Thank you, as always, for your kind and generous support. And if you cross paths with a homeless woman or any vulnerable soul, remember to be friendly and compassionate.

P.S. It would be deeply appreciated if you’d sign up to be a paid subscriber for as little as $5 per month. It directly enables this blog/podcast to keep going and growing. You can find the link at the bottom of the post.
If you prefer, you can donate any amount whenever you’d like by clicking here. Thank you in advance, it helps!
Happy to see you're still doing wonderful things for humanity, Mickey.
Mickey, I was hoping to donate from my IRA as a qualified charitable Distribution. Is that possible? You would need to be a 501k and I would need the name and possibly the #. If not, no worries. Thank you.
