Yes, until we eliminate taxation, it's essential that the burden be much fairer.
But only when enough of us recognize taxation as theft and reject the love of money and earthly attraction can we remove part of the yoke of slavery.
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1)

If taxation is theft, what makes stealing from the rich a good first step toward anything? Theft is theft and the 8th commandment says, "Thou shalt not steal." Do you really think Paul was saying that Jesus had set us free from the bondage of taxation? Did he not say, "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's"? I always thought that the freedom Jesus bought for us was the freedom from the love of money and earthly attractions, thereby easing the pains of taxation and other earthly distresses.
