Just want to add that:
In 1996, I drove from B.C. to a Washington State uni, to attend a Noam Chomsky lecture.
In 2004, on a hot summer's day, my little guy and I marched from Kitsilano, across the Granville Street bridge in Vancouver, to Sunset Beach. (Many kilometres distance. My 7 year old was such a little trooper.)
We (I had no money for a babysitter) marched in solidarity with other peaceful folks who opposed the horrific "Shock and Awe" which had been unleashed upon the Iraqi people by US military forces, beginning in the spring of 2003.
A highlight of that anti-war rally: Noam Chomsky spoke. In person. (Pre VideoTron days...)
So, I was shocked, nay, I was heartbroken to discover that a man I'd looked up to and respected was on "the other side of the fence".
He wanted me to be "isolated" from society.
For the protection of himself, and other people who'd chosen to be jabbed with a substance that Rachel Maddow, Joe Biden, the CDC and scores of scientists and MSM pundits promised would prevent THEM from becoming infected...
(I was at risk, according to their logic, not THEM, so, why???)
They were allegedly PROTECTED. From me. By the "vaccine". Right? RIGHT???
I became a pariah within my own family, my community, my city and my country.
I lost jobs.
I lost friends.
I was denied the right to earn a living..
I was denied the right of MOBILITY.
I was prevented from ESCAPING this nightmare of a Canadan gulag.
Because of "respected" voices like that of Noam Chomsky.
From October 2021 until June 20, 2022, I was not permitted to work, enter a restaurant, bar or casino, enter a movie theater or museum, attend a play or concert, or board a plane, train or ship, without a "Vaccine Passport."

Another solid discourse and dialog. I would add that concurrent with the public distrust of mainstream media is the public now distrusting their major sponsors as well. Up here in the killing fields of north america that deepening disgust is especially growing towards the number one and number two sponsors of mainstream media, if you dare to guess who those might be.

Thank you for a thought-provoking interview, Mickey. I will admit that I, too, was triggered by the first mention of Chomsky. I can vividly remember the sense of betrayal, the thunderclap of an idol keeling over and smashing open, I experienced when I first heard his comments on the unvaccinated. I remember watching carefully to be certain his words hadn’t been overdubbed. How could it be that a man who had seen so incisively and spoken so bravely couldn’t see this and condemn it for what it so obviously was? But that’s the trouble with idols and the cult of celebrity - we build them up in our own minds because they represent what we believe, or they speak the words that we agree with. And, of course, that’s precisely why the parasites use celebrities and influencers to spread their message, because we’re pre-disposed to believe them. I’m not sure which thought I find more distasteful - that Mr Chomsky said what he did for the money, or that he actually believed it. Either way, I am sure he was well rewarded for his comments.

And I think that’s another one of the ways in which the parasites have overplayed their hand. Just as they have caused a huge distrust of the legacy media through their propaganda and outright lies, so they have muted the voices of the people they use to try to influence us. I think people are becoming much more reliant on their own instincts than on the guidance of social influencers, whether they be celebrities or people in positions of trust in our lives. I think there was a time when we didn’t even stop to question why we particularly trusted certain people, but now we’re very aware that many we previously considered honest and above reproach can be, and have been, bought. This applies just as much to people we interact with every day - doctors, judges, clergy, teachers, politicians at all levels (ok, we never thought most of them were honest, but this??), etc. All these groups have been completely compromised (with a few standouts), either through what they are doing, or through their silence. I honestly don’t know whether this is a good or a bad thing. It has certainly changed society quite dramatically.

Your experience with NextDoor is the most alarming of all the censorship I have heard. And good for you for posting on NextDoor. That was truly brave because your neighbors knew your views. I listened to Alex Berenson and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and how parents wouldn't let their children play with their children. It was such a sick time. But now in LA, people have moved on. They babble on and on about MAGA Republicans. I feel as if I am in a Twilight Zone episode and there is no escape.
Being on NextDoor and attempting to engage with people starting in spring 2020 was like watching the brainwashing happen in real-time while the Ministry of Truth was being constructed before my eyes. I started a series for paid subscribers to share some of these exchanges (there are many more I haven’t had time to format yet):
I made these private since publishing their words without permission is a bit of a gray area. I changed the names as a precaution but felt it was important to document the indoctrination and the ease with which ordinary people slipped into the role of Good German while virtue-signaling their compliance.
Interesting that you should mention the “Twilight Zone” as I specifically quoted from the “The Monsters on Maple Street” in one of my NextDoor exchanges (not yet published):

Your experience with NextDoor is the most alarming of all the censorship I have heard. And good for you for posting on NextDoor. That was truly brave because your neighbors knew your views. I listened to Alex Berenson and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and how parents wouldn't let their children play with their children. It was such a sick time. But now in LA, people have moved on. They babble on and on about MAGA Republicans. I feel as if I am in a Twilight Zone episode and there is no escape.

Being on NextDoor and attempting to engage with people starting in spring 2020 was like watching the brainwashing happen in real-time while the Ministry of Truth was being constructed before my eyes. I made these private since publishing their words without permission is a bit of a gray area. I changed the names as a precaution but felt it was important to document the indoctrination and the ease with which ordinary people slipped into the role of Good German while virtue-signaling their compliance.
Interesting that you should mention the “Twilight Zone” as I specifically quoted from the “The Monsters on Maple Street” in one of my NextDoor exchanges (not yet published):
