Thank you, Rae. There's no rush or pressure to listen. As for a transcript, I can generate one but thanks to AI, it would then take me quite some time to edit it. I just can't get allocate time to that right now. Sorry.

Thanks for this info Mickey I’ve been missing a lot of your postings because I get so many emails they’ll get buried. Hope you’re doing well. XO.

You're welcome and thank you, Fayanne! And I hear you about email overload. I can't even calculate how many messages I get (not just emails) per day.

His website is a treasure! Every section I read is thoughtful and careful. Anyone who is open-minded (or trying to be) can benefit from it, regardless of priors.

Right? I learned about it from a subscriber here named David.

Thanks, James, for taking the time to listen.

Excellent interview👍 Hope it will help convince that a gun is like any other inanimate tool. It can be used for good or bad. Apparently many, many more times for good.

Thank you, David! I owe it to you for letting me know about GunFacts.info.

What an enlightening and surprising interview! It’s so encouraging to me to learn that our preconceived notions, often unconsciously acquired via propaganda, are far from the truth. People have far more in common that we are led to believe, the brutal reality faced by the poorest inner cities is unspeakable and unacceptable and desperately needs to be addressed, as does the fact that a horrific number of people are driven to taking their own lives. Follow the truth, wherever it leads - a liberating, intelligent and healing way to live and learn. Thank you, Mickey and Guy!!!

Thank you, Ann, for being someone who remains open to such surprises!

Just saw this today:

"President Joe Biden signed an executive order on March 14 to advance gun-control measures, including a step toward universal background checks, as much as current law will allow without requiring new legislation."

https://www.theepochtimes.com/biden-signs-executive-order-to-ramp-up-gun-control_5121759.html?utm_source=partner&utm_campaign=BonginoReport

"Biden’s budget proposal contains $1.9 billion for the ATF. This is a 13.6 percent increase over 2022 and half a billion dollars more than the agency’s fiscal 2020 budget.

If passed as written, Biden’s budget would expand the ATF by 35.7 percent—an overall growth of more than 50 percent since the Obama administration."

Have you found out any info about Lithuanian suicides? I know Swedish suicide rates have traditionally been high, I would guess largely due to the short days of winter. Also, what are the rates of alcoholism?

I live in a house where the grandfather of my former neighbors hung himself, I'm guessing in one of the barns because that was the usual place on farms. It was sometime after the terrible depression in the 1890s; I imagine he felt incredibly desperate. No one should feel that suicide is the only way out of economic failure.

I haven't had time to take an in-depth look but the rate appears to have skyrocketed at the end of the Cold War. As you state, economic failure may play a major role.

The elephant in the room no one wants to mention. I am currently reading about the looting of the former Soviet Union (a lot of the $$$$$ ended up in Israel), even the U.S. ambassador at the time said it was horrifying. Yet people cannot make the connection between what happened and all the women forced into prostitution by destitution in eastern bloc countries. The suicide connection would seem to make perfect sense.

Thank you, Post-Woke. The 2020 Summer Of Mostly Peaceful Love "woke" me up. GunFacts.info is a safe place for making sure one is correct about gun-related violence, before one attempts to argue for a better community. Thank you again for hosting him.

Thank you, JR! It was my pleasure to talk with Guy.

And yes, it seems all that #woke "protest" in 2020 had an impact on lots of folks who "woke" up!
