Thanks for writing this. My favorite aspect is how your father, through his first-hand experience, didn’t see members of organized crime as heroes. I’ve always detested how many movies/TV shows glorified them.
Since the powers that shouldn't be are essentially global mobsters, it feels as if we're conditioned to find that kind of behavior charming and even honorable.
