Another of those "hard to believe" so much time has passed... I heard 'Teenage Spirit' while traveling in Australia, and thought then, "Wow! The return of rock & roll!"
Watched a fascinating and touching documentary on Kurt's life, years ago. From his troubled childhood on:
1) passed from family member to family member because he was too much to handle. Not a bad kid. Just too much to handle.
2) Had a constant stomach pain.
3) History of the band
It was an HBO Documentary. "Kurt Cobain, Montage of Heck". If you can find it, it was excellent.
Also am pretty sure he did not kill himself:
1) Everyone who knew him said he was NOT suicidal!
2) Stomach pain that p!agued him was diagnosed and taken care of.
3) Did interview with Rolling Stone saying he was the happiest he's ever been.
4) Toxicology report said amount of drugs in system, would have been unconscious or dead. Not able to work a shotgun.
5) Being familiar with semiautomatic weapons, when shell ejects to load next round, so fast you can barely see it. Ejected shot gun shell was on wrong side of his body
Thanks, David. I've heard of the movie but haven't yet watched it. Years ago, I saw a documentary called "Kurt & Courtney" that touched on some of these topics. I'll have to look more into it.
There was a piece on Covert Action Magazine by an author who was writing a series about murdered musicians, and I read the one about Kurt Cobain. Courtney Love was apparently an asset who did her duty and got musicians hooked on drugs. Cobain had cleaned up, but ...
Fascinating how fearful those in power are of anyone to whom people respond.
Thanks!! Mr. M been awhile since I listened to nirvana ❤️✌️
You're welcome and yeah...I don't listen as much as used to but I'm still a fan.

Thanks, Chris! And yes, three decades...

He was a wise sage with human weaknesses. A wonderful poet and artist.

Omg almost 30 years ago...
That much time?? Seems like last year in some ways. 😳 Um, Nirvana is now considered classic.
