I see Americans talking about "savages" & war crimes

Translation: I see denial.

As barbarism reigns — on all sides — in the news right now, I feel myself getting nauseated whenever Americans comment self-righteously.

They climb aboard their high horse and sing hosannas about The Land of the Free™, Home of the Brave™, Greatest Generation™, and (most sinful of all) God’s Country™.

For decades, I’ve written extensively — including heavily annotated books — and spoken widely on the need to resist this blend of deceit and hypocrisy.

Every time we defend our country’s “right” to slaughter innocent beings because we’re the good [sic] guys, we lose a piece of our soul.

This is not about “patriotism.” It’s part of a spiritual war.
