Nope, I didn’t attend one of the Big Apple’s recent “protests.”
I took the photo above over nine years ago — on July 19, 2014 — and yeah… I also can’t believe anyone is still “protesting” any “shit.”
Regardless of which “side” you choose, how long will it take before more of us recognize activism as a ruse? The Powers That Shouldn’t Be™ deftly present the illusion of democracy, freedom, and participation by “allowing” protests.
They even set up Orwellian “free speech” zones for us, like this:
According to the Bill of Rights: “Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Funny, but I don’t see the word “barricades” anywhere in that excerpt.
But here we are, day after day, marching and chanting for whatever cause resonates with us — when we inherently know it doesn’t challenge the corrupt power structure.
In fact, what passes for activism reinforces the existing power structure. (But hey, it’s a great way to secure a badass new profile pic.)
I understand the allure. I once fell for it, big time. You have a sincere desire to support underdogs, create connections, and make the world a better place. But it’s long overdue that we stop obeying a deceitful blueprint — designed to commandeer our good intentions.
Before you demand that anyone (like me) tell you what you “should” be doing instead, you must first fully grasp this reality: Activism is yet another psyop.
Once that’s been accepted by enough soul-driven humans, I feel confident no one will need an “expert” to point the way. Effective new choices will become palpably perceptible.
The time is now for us to acknowledge our individual and collective power and use it to redress our grievances.
No more of this:

government does not listen to the people and never has. Last voting, the majority voted to stop the time change. Georgia and a few other eastern states voted (about 65 %) to keep summer hour. But the national govt decided we must stay on summer hour because the children. A friend brought up that indeed the kids are standing in the dark at 7.10 when the bus comes. So - why don't they change the school hours? If school starts half an hour later the problem is solved. Thinking of it, when I went to school 50 years ago in Belgium, we went on bicycle or by foot in the dark, and came home in the dark. I think children are too pampered today, when they grow up they will not be able to face even the dark. They only will remember being face diapered.
Thanks, Mickey.
