Lovely! I have the visual! ~~~ I try to pay three compliments, affirmations, encouragements every day, and the surprise and pleasure of the recipients, who say often “you made my day”.

Thank you, Mickey. My man-child graduates from highschool tomorrow. By golly, he got that diploma!

But I still have time left with him, as he'll be with us for a good while yet. I have a LOT of work to do trying to retrieve the innate desire to help that he once had.

This is a great reminder

You're most welcome, Jaye. And CONGRATS to your son...and you! You must be so proud of him and I trust he's proud of himself, too.

Thank you for raising a kind soul. 🙏

He is non-plussed. As they handed out the official documents at school on Monday, he later said to me that, since he already had the actual diploma, he didn't really NEED to walk across the stage...

He does not understand the fuss. But yes, we parents are button-popping proud

Savor it, Jaye...what a joy!

Meanwhile, I can see the logic of his position. But maybe this is an ideal time to encourage him to do something for someone else: you!

As Mister Rogers encouraged us: “I hope you're proud of yourself for the times you've said 'yes,' when all it meant was extra work for you and was seemingly helpful only to someone else.”

LOL……As a recovering introvert, I don’t like to be noticed, but I do like to be acknowledged

I will tell you that this guy was considering doing The Griddy while he was up there. I am not sure that being noticed is the challenge. More likely that he'd rather stay home and play video games 🙄🙄

Confession: I had to look up The Griddy to know what it is!

I am not sure why it's become a thing with him. I know he's gotten a bit of flack, as he is neither Black, nor a football player. Piffle!

I will let you know what happens, LOL. And my camera will be ready!

Oh Lordy, hilarious…what a spirit and personality…….no sense of the sacred homage to each other and to hard work. ~~~it’s true though there are behaviors and traditions and reverences that we take for granted that peepul now, will always recognize…..a big dinner on the news the other day, and it came to me, years ago that no men would wear a hat indoors, in a restaurant and in church. And now, folks put up their feet on the next empty chair….I choke. What teenager or four year old is going to sit there with their cookie. Dontcha just love it? Write it all down so ten years from now when they ask you “tell us about the old days “ you can LOL

I am simply oozing with positive emotional energy up here in New Brunswick. We are the only province in Canada right now with a premier who is standing firm for parental rights regarding the LGGSWEP agenda. Parents of students under the age of sixteen must be notified if their child is having trouble identifying with their given biological chromosomes AND there are no "I will not flood the earth again" flags this year in our town center!

There, I said IT, without all the buzz words. I know people are praying relentlessly here for this vile world to end and the new revival to begin. Be the KIND of change you want to see.

Thanks Mickey Z.
