Thanks, Malo. You basically nailed my primary motivation for writing this article. There is WAY too much change in terms of incidence of physical ailments to not look around and ask the same question you just did: What has changed?
And I recently heard on a podcast about how our fear of nut allergies has created an environment in which nut allergies have become more common and more dangerous. I'd have to look it up again before I say more but I'll end with this: I'm glad I grew up at a time when kids were given more room to develop, learn, and grow.
