A sense of control mitigates fear. I would like to see all of our reformers include small action steps in every one of their complaints. There is a good opportunity on May 20 with 150 We are Ready events scheduled around the world: https://www.weareready.world/locations/. These are being organized by the Global Walkout organization that is helping people build communities to resist globalism.

Small action steps can also include intentionality in purchases and affiliations. The Bud Light protest was a good example of that. I just ended a 35 year relationship with American Express when I discovered their wokeism in New York and their overall woke pedigree. I went with a new conservative card, Coign, that is far from perfect but better than Amex, which is a disaster.

A great twofer today! The parasite class tries to warp solidarity and compassion, two of the best human qualities, into clamour for capricious collective punishments and ambient sanctimony. Structural stress and anxiety are a big part of that kit. Once I saw that, I started learning how to back away from an all-too-easy anger and contempt. I knew I'd been mistaken and had misidentified the real threats. This post is valuable reminder of that.

And a final small bit of advice to deal with fear. Do small tangible things in your yard or on your rooftop that give you quick results every day. Get things done and savor the results. Mow your lawn and savor the completeness of the task when it is done. Say a prayer for thanksgiving to the universe for giving you a lawn, fresh air, flowers, a cool breeze, whatever.

It’s a difficult balance, for sure. I swing between a “que sera sera” attitude and having to know every single thing TPTB have planned for us (much of which is wildly speculative, of course). And I have huge difficulty keeping a positive attitude towards those who have an unquestioning faith that the govt has our best interests at heart, because I truly don’t think they do. Despite the fear factor inherent in doom scrolling, I do find it comforting in a way to have at least some idea of where we might be headed. Interesting times, indeed!

Sometimes when I'm worried about the current times, I like to remember how history was a lot worse.

We had friggin apartheid in a "free country"!

Despite the chaos, these days we are questioning authority more and more because they are delivering less and less.

The chaos with the woke stuff etc is from a highly amplified minority to create division and fear.

The truth is that most people are independent and it's the minority that are fighting these don quixote windmills.

It’s called Wetiko. The cure is cold showers or ice baths and daily nature immersion, long walks etc and meditating on life and death. That’s the good news. To be well everyone must eschew the global NWO trans-human takeover for a partial return to mysticism. Love snd empathy are the ultimate weapons of mass construction.

For the past 3 years, I have been taking ashwagandha to help with anxiety. Early on when I was still reading Medium someone posted an article that anxiety is in your body, not only your mind, because it is like preparing to fight or flee. Luckily shortly after Substack came into view. But now and then it still pops up, like last month when this doc scared the crap out of me LOL. So after a few weeks, back to normal. Reasonable questioning yourself helps. I have this condition. Will it kill me? If I keep measuring, will it help? Both answers, NO. Stop measuring. Problem solved !
