A dream shared. The call to help those in need, human or non-human, resonates deeply in many of us; it is a comfort to find like minded people who are also willing to take the extra bit of time in our lives to provide a kind word and offer of assistance, be it food or simple necessities to make life less of a struggle for even one soul. Love this post!

I'm honored to do this work and cannot do it without support of people like you. ❤️

P.S. Was it you who literally just made a generous donation?

Beautiful! I too live in a large city, in a very walkable neighbourhood. I regularly give "twoonie" coins ($2) to a couple people I see on the street. And do my best to just be friendly to people I see as I'm out & about. The smallest gestures can be so uplifting! I know this because when strangers are friendly to me - some (not many) people here in Toronto will say "Good morning" or even just smile at you - it's so appreciated. Just being human. I once wrote an item too about just doing the right thing. So simple, yet so powerful. Thank you so much for being such a lovely human!!

Thank YOU, Janet...you are such a kind soul. And you really nailed it here: "The smallest gestures can be so uplifting!"

We sadly underestimate ourselves when we think we have nothing to give or no time to do so. Thank you for that lovely reminder. 💕
