It is astonishing people like AOC don’t realize how ridiculous phrases like “menstruating person” sound. Not as bad as a photo of a bunch of teen boys standing in their bloodstained briefs, mastectomy scars still visible, and a caption “men menstruate too.”
A while back read an article from a woman who taught prenatal and childbirth classes. I guess she was part of a health care system gone full woke and got trained on the new correct verbiage to use regarding pregnancy and childbirth.
She is teaching a class and struggling, tripping over words and finally she stopped and asked her students if she could use the usual terminology. Everyone heaved a sigh of relief and said please do. It was a room of pregnant biological women and their partners, biological males. Catering to the sensitivities of transgender people who weren’t even present made no sense.
What a world. And I don’t even have a TV to watch and really get my nose rubbed in it.
It makes my blood boil to see people bending over backward to erase women from reality. I came of age when adult females were called ladies, girls, gals, chicks, broads, just about anything but women! The women’s movement rocked the boat big time and made it not just acceptable but preferable to call adult females WOMEN. It was a dramatic change for the better. To see the powers that shouldn’t be (as Mickey describes them) take a wrecking ball to the concept of womanhood is diabolical, demeaning and disgusting.

The Catholics will continue to exert tremendous control from their high-horse benches in the Supreme Court. Women have returned to the dark ages of clothes hanger trickery in back alleys in the fascist states of 'rigorous' control. Women are no longer free. We are now is the firm grip of fascistic ideology with, most assuredly, more to come. The Supreme Court needs a complete overhaul--6 year term limits to start with. Peace
