Wow - I had known that Burroughs was very demented (and a degenerate junkie as well) but having been a Sixties peace freak I kind of gave Ginsburg a pass. In my work as a book buyer, I used to frequent the English Dept at Brooklyn College where Allan was a tenured professor. On occasion I’d step into his office just to say hi and express gratitude for his efforts and work. Knowing now what he was all about, I’m surprised he didn’t try any moves on me.
