I’ve prayed for a lifting of the strife and a physical and emotional respite with a hedge of protection to shore up Ms strength in faith. In my experience these dark hours of the heart when we’re being wrought by fire are the moments we look back on in awe of the leveling up and how much absolute pressure was required to give us what was needed next. In the moment it feels like torture particularly if accompanied by guilt or sorrow for past inactions. But then something moves and when we get through and turn to look back we understand that God doesn’t always give us wings to rise. Sometimes it’s rope and the climb is still horribly taxing and we keep looking down over the edge in terror even though the harness is holding.In these moments sometimes all we can do is look up. Keep moving and keep looking up. Bless you.
With God's help we can do it. A wonderful way of remembering that we should not sink into despair, what your church does.

Praying for everyone, especially those in extreme weather conditions, the enormous fires cause suffering everywhere, earthquakes, floodings... glad you are online since I saw yet more disastrous flooding in NY.
Prayers for all with missing, dead, sick, harmed family members and friends and for all the animals who lost their humans. A little prayer of thanks, my Tippi is alive, and even though we slept poorly, we will survive!
All of my wife’s biopsies have come back negative, and we are deeply grateful. Thank you for your prayers and concern. This is wonderful news and such a relief for both of us.
At the same time, I’m very sad to share that a man I considered one of my truest and best friends has passed away after suffering from a terrible, fatal neurological disease.
Please keep his family and all who loved him in your prayers. I would also appreciate prayers for me as I grieve his loss. Today, I am holding gratitude and sorrow together.
I let out a deep sigh as I read your comment, Bob. A sigh of relief, a sigh of perhaps confusion. I'll try not to lean on my understanding as I respond, firstly, to your glorious praise report: Hugs of joy to you and Joann for this divine news.
Your prayer request, on the other hand, has me sending different kinds of hugs to you and all who knew your friend. Jesus promised in the Sermon on the Mount that those who mourn would be comforted. Thus, I *know* this promise is being fulfilled. I'm also thinking of Psalm 112, which talks about not being afraid of bad news, keeping our hearts firm, while trusting in the Lord.
I know everyone here joins me in praying for you as you navigate the ups and downs of life, my friend. You are never alone. 🙏
Praising God Who carries, protects, and heals through the prayers of others when we are unable to pray ourselves.
It is an amazing revelation of His working and active omnipresence when life situations disrupt our ability to commune with Him personally. It is a humbling epiphany.

Thank you, everybody, for your prayers last week re: my sister’s missing cat. The sweet kitty has not been seen; trusting wherever she is, on the earthly plane or on the other side of the veil, that her spirit is held & protected in prayer. Thank you very much. ❤️ PS: She is the third family animal to (possibly) cross over since my father died last Fall. Comforted knowing they’re together. ❤️🩹
