We’re all gonna rock to the rules that I make; I wanna be elected
There are SO many of us — imagine if we actually worked together
“We’re all gonna rock to the rules that I make/I wanna be elected.” (Alice Cooper)
Every four years, we get McDonalds vs. Burger King. Android vs. iPhone. MasterCard vs. Visa. Fox vs. CNN.
Let me put it another way: As long as the pilot has the controls, it matters not if you sit on the right side of the plane or the left side of the plane.
So, the next time someone tells you America has a two-party system, I suggest you demand a recount.
Like the bull in a bullfight, voters chase the elusive red cape — distracted from the real targets through an attractive image or illusion. Rather than challenge the status quo, we willingly contribute by assuming our predetermined role as consumers.
Ideologies are sold to the public like any other commodity. Media-hyped millionaires are neatly packaged and marketed with the same intensity and deception as a box of genetically modified cereal.
Once in office, we trust these villainous men and women with our moral decisions and are satisfied with the illusion of having elected them.
The time is long overdue for all of us to recognize that the primary difference between Republicans and Democrats is that they tell different lies to get elected.
While all elections inherently involve fraud, here are the “official” numbers for 2020:
Biden: 81,283,501 votes
Trump: 74,223,975
In 2020, there were 231 million eligible voters, but it appears only about 155 million of ‘em participated. More than 76 million Americans essentially chose “none of the above.”
Thought experiment: Imagine if those 76 million came out this November to write in someone else’s name — someone not from The Parasite Class™ — if for no other reason than to demonstrate that what they (we) want isn’t on the menu.
Seventy-six million protest votes in The Home of the Brave™?
The next thing you know, we might even have the beginnings of an actual democracy.
With that in mind, I’ll toss my hat in the ring.
There’s a lot more to life than Coke and Pepsi.
Consider me a glass of distilled water standing in opposition against those sugary, chemical-laden soft drinks.
Hey, if nothing else, I’d certainly make debates great again.

I was always partial to Black Sabbath. But Alice Cooper is ok I guess.
Marketing rules pretty much everything. You can't "unsee" it, once it becomes clear
