Social media, especially Facebook, have programmed us to see others as disposable. We make “friends” but will delete them at the drop of a hat if they make even one post or comment that “triggers” us.
People all across the political spectrum reflexively remove opposing viewpoints and thus sink further into algorithm-created echo chambers.
I see this trend playing out right here on my Substack.
For example, random folks become free subscribers because someone else shared a post of mine that exposed the COVID and/or Great Reset agendas.
Then I make a post about, say, kettlebells and those people instantly unsubscribe. It’s as if they’re telling me: “How dare you stray outside my increasingly narrow frame of interest?”
And if I make a post that even slightly challenges the so-called Truth [sic] Warriors, the unsubscribes can flow for days.
It’s Delete Culture™ in action. Zero tolerance for any discomfort or disagreement at all.
Good news: Every single one of us — right now — can reject this transparent, counterproductive social conditioning and return to our default setting of curiosity, open-mindedness, and humility.
Whenever we desire, we can collectively forsake hive minds — from “woke” to “medical freedom movement” and beyond — and reclaim our sovereignty and free agency.
What are you waiting for?
REMAIN REACHABLE & TEACHABLE.

Well-said, Mickey. I thought of you and our conversation when I encountered someone dismissing a Huxley quote I shared because she said he was a eugenicist:

Spot on. How quickly we forget that there are many aspects and interests of people’s lives. It’s what makes life interesting.
As I always say, stay curious and always be teachable.
Thanks Mickey for always keeping it real!!!
