My parents had moved to Texas (to be with my sister and her family) three years prior to 9/11. Thus, when my Mom visited NYC on her own in October 2002, she very much wanted to see the infamous Ground Zero Cross.
(Obviously, I could on for pages about the events leading up to and including September 11, 2001. But that’s for another post at another time.)
Right now, having happily rediscovered the photo above, I simply want to share a post of gratitude for being with my mother at that moment during one of her final visits to her hometown. It meant so much to her and it means so much to me now.
For those unfamiliar with the Ground Zero Cross, here’s a short video:
Wow!! Beautiful picture 🌻❤️🤍💙
Love the pic of you and your mom. I had never heard of the 9/11 cross or this story. Wow it is so heartbreaking, knowing who perpetrated that psyop and those innocent people just hoping it doesn't happen again... not realizing their own government attacked and killed their loved ones and fellow citizens. Ugh just ugh. So beyond heart-wrenching. And I hate seeing Ghouliani in there. He was an insider.
