In the Fall of 2021, Ben was one week into his freshman year of college. He was excited to start training with the track team and had joined CRU — a Christian community that allows college kids to learn about faith.
Exercise and faith are bedrocks of Ben’s character.
His plans and intentions changed in September of 2021 — nine hours after his second Covid vaccine. Ben was at a Bible study meeting when he entered a “seizure-like” state and was rushed to the emergency room.
