Thank you, Mickey. Your post is another nudge. As an extreme introvert, I often shy away from engaging with people at church. And there is this one lady that comes every week and she’s by herself. And on one of those Sundays where I had a little bit more courage than most, I sat down and talked with her and learned all about her and really set some sort of precedent. Since that time, when I see her, I smile and wave and then I walk right by. And it’s not because I’m not interested. But I am socially awkward.
I often make resolutions for myself that I will not pass by people without acknowledging them. And then that’s exactly what I do because the fear comes up.
Your post is pulling me out of my fear. And I’m looking forward to this Sunday.

What a beautiful example of the opportunities we have to refresh our senses and soul…once we let go of the niggling fears and worries that too often hold us back. What I found especially impressive was the special magical moments you encountered during this journey; particularly the cross, the eagle, and meeting the retired pastor. Powerful! Madeleine and i just left a couple days ago on a 5-month lecture tour cross-country, living the whole time in our little micro-van, and feel a similar calling to get out there and spread our wings, and share the message of compassion for all, and questioning all the official narratives - Sending blessings!
