A couple of months ago, I shared episode 37 of my podcast, Post-Woke. It was mostly a conversation between me and Mattias Desmet.
In case you missed it, here’s a brief and slightly edited excerpt. I trust it will inspire you to listen to the full podcast right here.
Mickey Z.: I've heard you talking about how unless we address the conditions, the Covid mass formation will be rapidly replaced with the Ukraine mass formation or the Monkey Pox mass formation. We need to address the conditions that make these sort of non-stop avalanche of mass formations happen. You’ve said it's not coming from the logical mind, it's not coming from the mindset that created this in the first place. So if you could talk more about the type of intellectual and emotional shift that we have to make to understand the scope of this situation and stop it in its tracks, I would love to hear more about that.
Mattias Desmet: If you think in a logical way, you build a wall. You connect one logical idea to the other. In this way, you build a wall around you that prevents you from resonating with the eternal music of life around you. You must start to be aware of the fact that your logical, rational understanding will never be really capable of grasping the essence of life around you.
At that moment, it is as if all these logical building blocks move away from each other a little bit, and the vibration of life around you can enter your being. The strengths in yourself can start to resonate, to vibrate with the eternal music of things around you.
It is at that moment, I think, that you start to be capable of tolerating the idea of death and dying because, at that moment, you feel that you're part of something eternal and that you don't need to be so scared of the end of your own physical existence.
I think that the most crucial thing we have to realize, we have to do now, is to become aware of the limits of our logical understanding. That's the true revolution.
Throughout the last few hundred years, the tradition of Enlightenment has believed that rational understanding should be the cornerstone of society and of human life. But that's just not true.
We are about to realize now that rational understanding is just the first stage that is very necessary and wonderful, but it should lead to a next stage in which rational knowing, to be replaced by a more resonating knowing, which offers the most tremendous perspectives for a human being.

Thank you for this, I will repost, yet I find Desmet a bit flaky, and superficial even in his analysis, I have seen some of his personal direct writing on issue via repost of others like you in direct contact with him, and I am appalled.... to be where he is in the system he has to be a bootlicker of status quo.... no matter his claims.
Many thanks Mickey for posting this excerpt by Mattias. I absolutely agree with him - logic and rationality are fine tools, but they can never liberate us from delusion. Only spirituality and intuition and profound questioning of all the indoctrinated narratives can do that. Thanks for cultivating your ever-open, searching, critical, and deeply caring heart!
