Above is the one and only Guiseppe. I helped his human companion for quite a while. By proxy, I helped out this sweet old-timer!
You see, over the 7.5 years I’ve run my mission, I’ve gotten to know plenty of awesome canines and felines. I can’t always get photos but I want to share a couple of the images I do have
Below is Louie. When he’d see me coming, he’d get quite excited because he knew that meant both food and toys for him. His human companion was a longtime regular for me — but eventually got housing.
I helped the couple below for at least 18 months. the brown dog on the left is Sarah, their friend’s dog. The other three, left to right: Jeffrey, Lil’ Dog (who unfortunately passed away shortly after this photo was taken), and Bear.
Pooh Bear was such a cutie pie. When his human companion got a shelter bed, she was bummed to learn that the shelter had no air conditioning. I was able to get Pooh Bear a cooling mat to help out with that.
