As we near the big day, I’d like to share some very recent photos I took around my neighborhood.

This is the “Giving Tree” at my neighborhood church. I’m proud to say that I’m one of the folks who purchased gifts to help make a local family’s Christmas a little more joyous.

I attended a fun, tree-lighting event at the local Catholic Church.

Someone built Chonky a winter home but he was wary of it. Well, on the day of a recent major storm, I went to check on him once the rain and wind stopped. Chonky was safely ensconced in the house. He gave me a few slow blinks but he was not coming out to say hi!
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” (John 3:16-17)
