Pharma seems like a very bad bet for people who are looking to remedy any kind of sorrow, whether their own or other people's. It's the antithesis of public health, which relies on non-sexy things like good sewer systems and regular garbage hauling. But Pharma's proponents, not to mention shills, routinely poor-mouth anything that benefits everyone. I'd like to invite them to live in a city in which people dump chamberpots out the window, sometimes directly on passersby.
Read a comment from someone who stated, that there are frequent drop offs in electricity where she lives, and she wonders what will happen if the neighborhood buys new electric cars. Just like the greenhouse effect - the pseudo scientists say farmers should stop farming because of the animal waste. But more streets and asphalt and houses (that reflect the sun instead of absorb it) are okay. Does anyone listen to themselves taking this nonsense ?
