I've found that one of the best ways to meet neighbourhood people is by picking up the trash that's been tossed on the street. Lots of good things become possible when there's a shared sense of community. Small steps they may be, but they're still building blocks.
Too much information clip LOL ! We live in the woods, no need to pick up here, except, like James says, the neighbor's trash. I might put up a fence so I don't have to look at the trash covered back yard!
