Let’s behave as the gifts we truly are
No need to trust “experts” — and that includes those in your current hive mind
“Father, they are your gift to me.” (Jesus talking about us in John 17:24)
The other day, I overheard a conversation about the confusion of “scientific studies.”
For example, a news [sic] outlet will report about research [sic] that “proves” coffee is a healthy choice. Then, a matter of weeks later, another news [sic] outlet will publish an article with “proof” that coffee is a health hazard.
(Side note: This post is not about coffee.)
“How are we supposed to know what’s correct?” concluded one of the people speaking.
My spontaneous thought response went something like this: “What stands out to me is how The Powers That Shouldn’t Be™ relentlessly discourage us from relying on our own senses and innate wisdom.”
I happen not to drink coffee but this decision is based not on “science” but rather on how coffee makes me feel.
(Reminder: This post is not about coffee.)
This brings me to the Bible quote up top. As explained in a recent post of mine, you’ve been endowed with literal superpowers. The last thing you need is diabolical powers — in the guise of “experts” — to guide you.
God calls you a masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10), a gift (John 17:24) — fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) in His image (Genesis 1:27) — the apple of His eye (Deuteronomy 32:10).
Every one of us is gifted.
I’m certainly not teaching anything here. I’m merely reminding you of what you already know.
Tune into your inner power and wisdom — and for much more than beverage choices. (This post is still not about coffee.)
When seeking the discernment necessary to unravel the sinister schemes that hijack our collective destiny, look inward first for guidance. It’s a lot more effective and fun than choosing division and doom scrolling.
You already have precisely what you need. So, be the gift you were created to be — and then connect with other gifts to multiply the impact.

Reading a Stack "not about coffee" while sipping coffee. Ah, the simple joys in life 😏
Good old Marcus Aurelius. I am sure he did not drink coffee either !!! But he already knew some things about life. Need to re-read him one of these days.
